Troup County Government employs personnel in a variety of administrative and technical support functions as well as court services, public safety, public works and other community services.
The Human Resources Department advertises employment opportunities, refers applications to appropriate departments for available openings, assist with the pre-employment checks to include drug screening, criminal history and reference checks. Information from a Resume will not be used to determine if minimum qualifications are met. A Resume in lieu of an application will not be accepted.

Employment applications for all Troup County vacancies will be accepted at the Department of Labor at 1002 Longley Place, LaGrange, GA 30241. No Applications will be accepted after 5:00 p.m. of the application deadline date and once a position is filled applications for it will no longer be accepted.
Instructions for Applying for Employment
Applicants will need to be registered with the Department of Labor before an application can be completed for a Troup County vacancy. Registration can be completed on the Department of Labor website or the DOL office. The Department of Labor will only accept applications completed in the office. Applicants who live out of town, will need to also register online with the Department of Labor and an application can be mailed if the minimum qualifications for the desired positions are met.
