LaGrange Active Life

The Active Life is a gathering place for adults (55+). Our Activity Center was built in 1992 and our Wellness Center was built in 2009. These facilities were designed to meet the needs of Troup County’s growing older adult population. The programs of the Center are funded through Federal and State Grants, the Troup County Board of Commissioners, the United Way of West Georgia and self-generated funds. The Active Life is managed by the Troup County Parks & Recreation Commission. Located just off Lafayette Parkway on Ragland Street, The Active Life has become the focal point of senior adult recreation in the LaGrange community.

Our Mission

We will provide recreation for adults 55+ that enhances quality of life, empowers independence and extends lifespan.
